Chainmate is a chess roguelite. Lead an ivory army across three acts on a 6×6 board. Every fight is real chess against an obsidian army that never retreats. Your pieces earn XP and level up into new moves, relics bend the rules, and the pieces you lose stay lost.

Upgrades that change how each piece moves, shown on the piece itself
18 relics that stand on the arena wall and spring to life when they fire
Three difficulties, hints, and saves you can continue

Controls: click a piece, then a square. Right-drag to orbit and use the wheel to zoom. Keyboard and controller work too; press F1 for the rules. Built for desktop browsers and tested in Chrome. Touch is untested.
